The invention relates to a simple, manageable, unsinkable device which is hardly any bigger than an oar making it possible to propel a lightweight craft. It consists of the alignment of a handle 1, of a motor 3, of a float 4, of a sleeve 5, of a transmission shaft 6, of a ballast weight 7 and of a propulsion system 8. It can be articulated to any current size of rowlock and, without modification, propels any craft making use of this accessory. <IMAGE>
