The invention relates to electroacoustics. This system, of the type in which a loudspeaker mounted on a baffle is loaded, on its rear face, by a closed chamber and, on its front face, by a resonator, comprises, on the said baffle, a second loudspeaker HP2 mounted symmetrically facing the said first loudspeaker HP1 so that the actions of the two loudspeakers HP1, HP2 are balanced by reciprocal reactions. The two loudspeakers may have very similar characteristics and are then connected up cross-phased, or have different resonant frequencies and can be connected so that the low frequency of one coincides with the resonant frequency of the other. <IMAGE>
