PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to audit to one channel broadcast and also conveniently select another channel where a new broadcast starts by displaying the program of the latter channel automatically on a subscreen when the new broadcast starts by making use of broadcast program superposed on the broadcast signal. SOLUTION: When a main screen is displayed on a cathode-ray tube 12, a microcomputer 7 receives the output of a KBPS decoder 13 which decodes a KBPS signal superposed on the video signal outputted from an RF demodulation part 3 and recognizes the current time. The computer 7 operates a PIP tuner 4 specific minutes before the start time of the program right after a currently audited broadcast program to sequentially select and display all received channel broadcasts on the subscreen of the tube 12. |
