PURPOSE:To improve the dimensional stability accompanied by a development processing by applying the coating solution of a hydrophilic colloid layer on a supporting body composed of polyester and drying it, and then subjecting the obtd. supporting body to a specified thermal treatment and preserving it in a specified atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide photograhic sensitive material is obtd. by applying the coating solution of the hydrophilic colloid layer on the supporting body composed of the polyester and drying it, and then subjecting the obtd. photosensitive material to the thermal treatment in the atmosphere of an absolute humidity of <=1%, at the temp. of at least >=30 deg.C. The photosensitive material is preserved in the atmosphere of the absolute humidity of <=1%. The polyester used for the supporting body is composed of the polyester contg. an aromatic dibasic carboxylic acid and a glycol as essential constituents. Thus, the dimentional stability accompanied by the development processing of the photosensitive material is improved. |
