PURPOSE:To simplify handling of a high-frequency heating apparatus and to improve its usability, by automatically measuring the weight of a substance to be heated, and automatically calculating the requifed heating time, output, heating pattern, etc. from the weight of the substance to be heated. CONSTITUTION:The weight of food 7 is applied to a support plate 8 and to one end of plate springs 12 via a support plate fixing member 20. On the other hand, since the other end of the plate springs 12 is fixed to a rotatable support plate 18, the plate springs 12 are bent and vibrated. A magnet 10 transmits vibration to a means 11 for detecting the intensity of magnetic field by the magnetic force. Thus, simultaneously with placing a frozen food on the support plate 8, the magnet 10 begins to vibrate and the weight of the food is measured by a micro-computor. Then, heating is started by pushing a start key. Just after starting of heating operation, the micro-computor calculates the required heating time from the weight of the food and the residual heating time is indicated at a display section. Further, if the output P, time T and heating pattern required for the above heating operation are stored in memory of the micro-computor, thawing operation is carried out automatically by pushing a ''start'' button. |
