<p>The present invention provides for aqueous polymer dispersions characterized by a water-dispersible polyurethane/acrylic support resin/acrylic polymer, with the acrylic polymer being polymerized from monomers in the presence of the water-dispersible polyurethane and acrylic support resin. The dispersions can be prepared having balanced properties such as toughness, durability, hardness, abrasion and detergent resistance, and depth and retention of gloss. The compositions are particularly suitable in floor coatings.</p> |
