PURPOSE:To realize not only an electronic musical instrument with power of expression like that of an acoustic piano, but to obtain fertile musical characteristic surpassing that of the piano by generating a musical tone signal corresponding to a played key, and generating the musical tone signal corresponding to the resonance effect of a part other than the played key. CONSTITUTION:A system control circuit 4 consists of a key depression/ separation information detection circuit 14, a pedal information detection circuit 15, a direct tone information generation circuit 16, a resonance tone information generation circuit 17, and a sound source control circuit 18. Then, another musical tone component equivalent to the resonance effect other than the musical tone component corresponding to a musical interval directly played with the key 1 is also generated. Therefore, a musical tone with complicated composition as a whole can be generated, and simultaneously, delicate difference equivalent to the pedal effect of the piano can be also displayed. In such a way, it is possible not only to realize the electronic musical instrument with the power of expression as that of the acoustic piano, but to inexpensively form the electronic musical instrument having various possibility surpassing that of the piano. |
