<p>PURPOSE:To keep the deodorizing power over a long period by using a deodorant in which the reaction product of a specified metallic material and oxy basic acids and metallic material are coexistent. CONSTITUTION:Pig iron is wet-crushed into powder having <=10mu size, the powder is kneaded with a binder such as carboxymethyl cellulose, and the product is applied on a urethane foam. The material is heat-treated to remove the urethane foam and to sinter the applied iron powder, and a three-dimensional sintered porous body of iron is formed. The iron powder is immersed in an aq. soln. of 1mol ascorbic acid and then dried. The porous body is used as a deodorant. In addition, Mn, Cr, Ni, Zn, Al etc., are used for the metallic material. Consequently, a strong deodorizing power is obtained at all times.</p> |
