PURPOSE:To make the selection of a picture easy, by selecting a broad shutter time for a frame picture using all of photodetectors of a solid-state image pickup element and a field picture using a half the vertical scanning lines under the same exposure condition. CONSTITUTION:When a shutter speed is selected, a signal including corresponding time information is outputted from a shutter speed setting circuit 212. When the 1st mode is selected, a shutter 202 is closed and the transfer of charge of a CCD 205 is started. Through the control of a driving pulse generating circuit 206 with a timing controller 207, the stored charge in the CCD 205 is read out in the 2:1 interlace scanning, and one-frame picture signal of an odd number two-field in the 1st mode is inputted to a video switch 211 via a preamplifier 209 and a process amplifier 210, and one-field picture signal of any one is inputted in the 2nd mode. A mode switching circuit 214 switches the two modes. |
