<p>PURPOSE:To take measures to prevent a strange sound from being made. when a vehicle door lock is opened, and to obtain a higher class of lock. CONSTITUTION:A recess 4 is formed on the surface side of a lock body 1 which is formed of a synthetic resin fixed to a door side. In this recess 4, a ratch 2 to engage with a striker 6 and rotate, and a ratchet 3 to prevent the reverse rotation of the ratch 2 are housed. The ratch 2 is formed of a thick metal plate 10, and its outer surface is surrounded partially by a synthetic resin 11. To this synthetic resin 11, a tube body 12 inserted to the shaft hole 17 of the ratch 2, and an open positioning-cum-noise preventive member 16 provided at the part of the ratch 2 abutting to the body 1 in a door opening position are formed integrally.</p> |
