PURPOSE:To enable a fatigue strength of ceramic to be evaluated in a short time by fixing a ceramic test piece and an ultrasonic vibrator so that no bending stress accompanied by deviation of a core may be generated and then transferring ultrasonic vibration to the ceramic test piece properly. CONSTITUTION:A taper part end face of a ceramic test piece 15 is face- contacted to an end face 12d of jig body 12 which is set at a resonance frequency which matches that of an ultrasonic vibrator. An outer-periphery surface of a taper part of a ceramic test piece 15 is supported on a taper-shaped inclined surface 18b of a clamping tool 18 and a ring 16 and the clamping tool 18 are screwed to a male screw part 12d.
