PURPOSE: To provide a hard copy resulting from an original image correctly set at no slant automatically even if the original image is set at a slant. CONSTITUTION: When an operation section designates the processing mode being a slant correction mode, a slant detection means 29 detects the slant of an original image with respect to image data obtained by reading the original image by an original read means 1 and subjected to photoelectric conversion. Then an image correction means 31 corrects the image data based on the detected slant and provides an output of the result to an output means 2, from which a hard copy corrected into a state at no slant is obtained. |
