PURPOSE: To provide an electronic musical instrument capable of decreasing the memory capacity of a recording medium and reducing a cost by improving the player's operability with simple procedures and not recording non-playing data which is not important and non-playing data which is overlapped without impairing the operator's free creativity. CONSTITUTION: Parameters that the player is desirable of preserving are selected from the parameters set in the electronic musical instrument. If there are the songs desired to use the selected parameters when these selected parameters are separated from songs as a parameter file and are recorded on a storage medium, such as floppy disk or hard disk, these song names are stored in the related song name region of the parameter file. |
