METHOD FOR LIVESTOCK MANAGEMENT

PURPOSE:To obtain a method for the livestock management in which individual information can be carried on the livestock by using a data carrier and the reliability of the individual information read out of the data carrier can be judged. CONSTITUTION:Individual information is written in the second data carrier (2b) extracorporeally attached to the body of livestock and carried on the livestock. An intrinsic code of the second data carrier (2b) and that of the first data carrier (2a) embedded in the body of the livestock are collated with a pair of the intrinsic codes preregistered in a memory 10. When the pair of the objective intrinsic codes is present in the memory 10, the individual information read out of the second data carrier (2b) is judged to be reliable.
