<p>PURPOSE:To make a container equal to conventional counterparts in transparency, impact resistance, fusion adhesion, etc., and achieve in it good moldability and decomposability under natural environment after use by molding the container from a lactic acid-derived polymer. CONSTITUTION:A main container part 1 and a covering part 2 are joined at a joining part 3 and hollows 6, 7 to hold eggs in are formed at a plurality of positions in the main container part 1 and correspondingly in a covering part 2. By being folded along the center at the joining part 3 the container holds the lower halves of eggs in the hollows 6 in the main container part 1 and their upper halves in the hollows 7 in the covering part 2. Subsequently flange parts 4, 5 are attached to each other by thermal fusion. A lactic acid- derived polymer in use may be a polylactic acid which may contain 1-50 mole %, of L-lactic acid unit and 99-50 mole % of D-lactic acid unit or which may contain 1-50 mole % of D-lactic acid unit anal 99-50 mole % of L-lactic acid unit; the lactic acid-derived polymer in use may be a lactic acid-glycolic acid copolymer which contains 30-80 mole % of lactic acid unit; the lactic acid- derived polymer in use may be a lactic acid-hydroxycaproic acid copolymer which contains 80-95 mole %, of lactic acid unit.</p> |
