PURPOSE: To provide a new monosheet-type photosensitive material and an image forming method by which no waste is produced except for the image forming material. CONSTITUTION: This photosensitive material is produced by laminating a photosensitive layer and an image receiving layer in this order on a supporting body. The photosensitive layer contains at least silver halide, reducing agent, polymerizable compd. and microcapsule containing one of two materials which cause the color developing reaction when they are brought into contact with each other. The image receiving layer containing the other material to cause the color developing reaction. This photosensitive material is exposed for an image and developed by heating while applying pressure, or developed by heating and then pressed so that the microcapsule is broken to form the image on the image receiving layer. |
