PURPOSE: To enable a sterilized object to be taken out from the storing container fully separately from waste water by accumulating in a waste water tank below an effluent containing deposits from the object boiled by high- pressure steam and thereby separating the sterilized object fully from the waste water. CONSTITUTION: A high-pressure steam sterilizer 1 is such that water is stored in the chamber 2 and that an object A to be sterilized is stored in the container 10 for storing such object. With the cover 8 closed and with a heater operated, a high-pressure steam is produced in the chamber 2 and enters the container 10 from the top opening 3. Meantime, air inside the container 10 is exhausted through an air passage hole 12 and discharged from an air vent 5 together with the air in the chamber 2. The object A is sterilized by the convection of the saturated steam thus produced. In this case, the waste water stuck to the object A falls through the soil passage hole 15 in a partition wall 14 into the waste water tank 13. After that, the sterilized object A is taken out from the container body 11 and discarded. The waste water is also discharged by tilting the container body 11. |
