<p>PURPOSE: To provide a highly sensitive and inexpensive heat source detector in a simple constitution which can widen the detection area. CONSTITUTION: An infrared sensor 9 having a plurality of infrared detection elements is arranged and fixed, and a signal-processing part for processing infrared detection signals of the sensor is provided. An infrared light reflection mirror 6 is installed via an infrared lens 10 on the side of a photodetecting surface 16 of the infrared sensor 9. Infrared rays entering the reflection mirror 6 through an infrared transmission window 4 are reflected at the reflection mirror and form an image on the photodetecting surface 16 of the infrared sensor 9 by the infrared lens 10. The infrared light reflection mirror 6 is axially supported to be rotatable in a direction in which the infrared sensor 9 scans a detection area. When the infrared rays entering the reflection mirror 6 are introduced to the infrared sensor 9 while the infrared light reflection mirror 6 is rotated by a motor 13, the detection area by the infrared sensor 9 is changed equivalently. Data of a heat source from the entire periphery of the detector is detected in this manner.</p> |
