<p>The equipment comprises an adaptor bonded to an end of the tool handle. The adaptor includes a cap portion and a lower portion incapable of passing through the eyehole, which surrounds the tool handle adjacent to the cap portion. The adaptor is configured so that when it is inserted through the eyehole from a bottom of the tool head the cap portion extends toward the top of the tool head. There are a pair of wedges insertable into the eyehole from the top of the tool head, where the wedges engage the cap portion of the adaptor to prevent the adaptor from being withdrawn from the eyehole. Also included is a device for mechanically locking the wedges to the adaptor.</p> |
