PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reader-writer device provided with a means for simultaneously reading the charge to be collected corresponding to the use of card and the remainder of the card. SOLUTION: A display part 28 is composed of 1st and 2nd displays 28a and 28b using liquid crystal and a display control means comprising a liquid crystal controller or a CPU for controlling these displays. When a card 19 is inserted from a card slot 11 on a reader/writer device 10, this display control means displays the fare to be collected on the 1st display 28a and displays the limit of payment remained on this card after the collection on the 2nd display 28b. In this case, the 1st and 2nd displays 28a and 28b are installed together on the upper casing of the reader/writer device 10 but they can be installed together at any other place as well when it is convenient for the observation for a card user. |
