PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately analyze the role of each token constituting a sentence. SOLUTION: A 1st token extracting means 52 receives the output of a part-of- speech and attribute analyzing means 30 and extracts a case wherein a token whose part of speech is 'name' and a token whose part of speech is 'particle 'ha' or 'ga'' are succeed as a 1st token. A 2nd token extracting means 54 extracts a predicate which is accompanied by no predicate. Further, a 3rd token extracting means 56 extracts a case wherein the predicate accompanied by no predicate and the token whose part of speech is 'name' succeed and 'particle 'ha' or 'ga'' is further successive. A main role determining means 58 determines the roles of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tokens according to the appearance order and appearance frequencies of the tokens in the document. A subordinate role determining means 62 determines the role of an undetermined token according to the role of a determined token right after the undetermined token and the part of speech of the undetermined token. |
