PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily decide the presence of water leakage of a heat exchanger of a heat exchanging apparatus. SOLUTION: A drain container 2 is inserted into a drain discharge passage of a heat exchanging apparatus A for storing drain, the heat exchanging apparatus A including a heat exchanger 1 for heat-exchanging burner combustion waste until it reaches a dew point or lower for production of drain. On the drain container 2 there is provided a syphon 22 for discharging a predetermined amount of drain stored therein to the downstream side of the drain discharge passage every time the drain reaches a predetermined water level. There are further provided detector means for detecting the actuation of the syphon 22 and outputting a signal, accumulation means for accumulating the number of outputs of a signal in a predetermined time during the operation of the heat exchanging apparatus A, water leakage judging means for outputting a water leakage signal when the accumulated number of times of the outputs reaches a set one, and alarming means becoming an alarming state using sound or display when the water leakage signal is inputted. |
