Warning detection method for road traffic

The warning detection method uses at least one receiver (20) incorporated in a motor vehicle (1,1') for detecting a warning signal provided by a warning transmitter (10), with conversion of the received warning signal into an optical and/or acoustic indication for the vehicle driver. The operation of the warning transmitter may be linked to the brake lights (11,11') of a vehicle, or to a roadside warning sign. An Independent claim for a warning detection device is also included.
