PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate such need for providing a catalog for every customer at purchase time and letting a salesman visit the customer to sell a necessary at necessary time that has required much cost. SOLUTION: The commodity selling system has a commodity information database 211 for information including standard repurchase periods, necessary periods, etc., by commodities and a database 212 for customer information including information on family structure by customers and repurchase periods and final purchase dates of commodities having been bought so far and a recommended article generation system 112 which generates a list 213 of recommended commodities reaching proper purchase periods by the customers. Further, the system has a function of sending the purchase list to the customers through a network 100 to let the customers browse the commodity information database 211 according to the list, and an indication for delivery is sent to a delivery center terminal 130 through a sales center counter terminal 111 and the network 100. |
