PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an associative input device, capable of performing associative input and a Japanese syllabary/Chinese character conversion input, and allowing an operator to call his memory in a review mode for associative reading which is likely to be forgotten, when performing the associative input so that the operator will not forget the associative reading. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an associative input means and a second Chinese character conversion inputting means and a Chinese character/ associative reading converting means so that Chinese characters inputted by switching an input mode to the second Chinese character conversion inputting means by an operator and the associative reading of the Chinese characters are displayed, the Chinese characters are registered, the registered Chinese characters are called out and the operator can review the associative input by a reviewing means for allowing the operator to give an answer.
