PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage system which does not require a system linkage protective function in technical aspects and can simplify installation procedures and management job in operational aspects. SOLUTION: In the power storage system 11 for leveling electrical power by providing a secondary battery 17 to the DC side of a power converter 16, connected between a system power supply 12 and a load 13 via a linkage transformer 15 and by reducing the peak power via the supply of a discharge power to the load 13, by discharging the power stored in the secondary battery 17 to the system, a thyristor switch 20 is provided to a linkage point A of the system power supply 12 and power converter 16, in order to disconnect the power converter 16 from the system at discharging of the secondary battery 17. |
