METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MULTICOLOR DISPLAY BY LIQUID CRYSTAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the number of colors in a method and a device for multicolor display in one pixel by using retardation without increasing the number of electrodes or load in processes. SOLUTION: The pixel is formed to >=150 μm and <=360 μm length of one side line and >=5 μm and <=20 μm distance between lines, and two colors are selected from basic colors and alternately disposed in pixels adjacent to each other so that the selected two colors are mixed and generated in the region.
