<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multidirectional input device, capable of restraining a control shaft from moving downward, even if a force is applied wrongly to the control shaft to thrust it downward. SOLUTION: The control shaft 6 is equipped with a lower end 6e, confronting a base plate 10 separated a prescribed distance, a spherical stopper 10a is engraved on the surface of the base plate 10 confronting the lower end 6e of the control shaft 6. The curvature radius of the spherical stopper 10a is set larger than the distance from a rotatably support point at which the control shaft 6 is rotatably supported at a first interlocking member 2 by a round pin 7 to the lower end 6e. When the control shaft 6 is thrusted towards the base plate 10, the lower end 6e of the control shaft 6 bears against the stopper 10a. Therefore, for instance, even if a thrust load is pressed wrongly to the control shaft 6 to thrust it downwardly, the stopper 10a is capable of bearing a thrust load applied to the control shaft 6, so that the first interlocking member 2 supporting the control shaft 6 in a rotatable manner is will not fracture.</p> |
