PURPOSE: A heat treatment method of austenitic stainless hot rolled steel sheet containing Ti is provided to improve intergranular corrosion resistance. CONSTITUTION: The heat treatment method of austenitic stainless hot rolled steel sheet where austenitic stainless slab comprising C 0.03 to 0.08 wt.%, Cr 17 to 19 wt.%, Ni 9 to 13 wt.%, 1.0 wt.% or less of Si, 2.0 wt.% or less of Mn, 0.03 wt.% or less of S, 0.5 wt.% or less of Ti, a balance of Fe and incidental impurities, wherein Ti=5xC wt.% undergoes hot rolling, solid solution treatment and stabilizing heat treatment, the method is characterized in that the hot rolled austenitic stainless steel sheet is held for more than 30 minutes in the temperature range of {6120/(3.963-log(C))}-273°C to {7000/(3.75-log(C))}-273°C, and then cooled.
