摘要 PURPOSE: To decrease edge crack in the manufacture of oriented electric steel slab using walking beam type reheating furnace. CONSTITUTION: In a manufacture method of oriented electric steel slab where the oriented electric steel slab comprising C 0.04 to 0.08 wt.%, Si 2.9 to 3.3 wt.%, Mn 0.06 to 0.08 wt.%, S 0.02 to 0.03 wt.% and optionally sol.Al 0.02 to 0.037 wt.%, N 60 to 120 ppm, a balance of Fe and incidental impurities undergoes hot rolling after heating to 1350 to 1430°C in walking beam type reheating furnace; preliminary annealing; cold rolling; decarburization annealing, hot annealing and final insulation coating, the method is characterized in that volume ratio of (H2+CH4+CO+CnHn)/O2 is controlled in the range of 0.95 to 1.2 in the reheating furnace.
