PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a crosstalk from adjacent tracks in an optical disk. SOLUTION: Of marks and regions between the marks on the optical disk, the forms of the mark and the region between the marks which are comparatively long over a prescribed threshold length are modified respectively, thereby controls reproducing signals of high frequency reproduced from these marks and regions between the marks not to have a large amplitude which is not required. Accordingly, the crosstalk noise level from the adjacent tracks is controlled.
