PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture processing method for enhancing precision in isolated point removal, a picture processor, its program and a recording medium concerning the picture processing method for removing an isolated point, its device and its program and the recording medium. SOLUTION: A range for locating isolated point noise is decided from an input picture, a circumscribed rectangle is extracted with the decided range as an object, the candidate rectangle of the isolated point noise is extracted by the extracted circumscribed rectangle, the isolated point noise is detected by relation between the extracted isolated point noise candidate rectangle and a rectangle in the circumference and, then, the detected isolated point noise is removed.
