PURPOSE:To produce Ni-Zn ferrite magnetic powder having fine particle size, uniform shape and composition and high crystallinity by a simple process compared with conventional method while minimizing the formation of impurities. CONSTITUTION:A Cu ferrite containing 50-60mol% of Fe2O3 and 40-50mol% of CuO is mixed with an Ni-Zn ferrite containing 40-49mol% of Fe2O3, 11-58mol% of NiO and 2-40mol% of ZnO or a compound containing Fe<2+>, Ni<2+> and Zn<2+> and the mixture is baked to obtain the magnetic powder. |
