The invention relates to a method and a device for the CVD coating of a workpiece. In the method for CVD coating, in particular for aluminizing, at least one workpiece (11), a coating gas is generated which serves for the coating of the or each workpiece. According to the invention, workpieces for coating are arranged in a coating chamber (10) with coating granulate (17) arranged in the vicinity of the workpieces for coating. The coating chamber, together with the workpieces for coating and together with the coating granulate are heated to the process temperature. After reaching the process temperature, a process gas is introduced onto the coating granulate, which leads to the generation of the coating gas. |
