PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic binoculars capable of recording the optical image of an object to be observed and more reducing power consumption than when using ordinary electronic binoculars while applying the merit of the electronic binoculars advantageous to night vision. SOLUTION: The electronic binoculars are equipped with a power source 90, both imaging parts 10R and 10L having both imaging devices 13R and 13L picking up the optical image of the object to be observed and converting the optical image to an electrical signal, both eyepiece parts 30R and 30L having both display elements 33R and 33L displaying the optical image of the object to be observed based on the electrical signal, both image signal generation parts 50R and 50L converting the electrical signal to an image signal to be observed by the eyepiece parts 30R and 30L, and a control part 70 controlling the feed of the imaging parts 10R and 10L, the eyepiece parts 30R and 30L and the generation parts 50R and 50L, and supplying the image signal from the generation parts 50R and 50L to the eyepiece parts 30R and 30L.
