PURPOSE: To obtain a thermoplastic recording material excellent in light fastness by adding a triazine compd. represented by a specific formula to a thermal recording color forming layer based on a color forming compd. and a coupling compd. CONSTITUTION: In a thermal recording material wherein a thermal recording color forming layer based on a color forming compd. and a coupling compd. is provided on a support, a triazine compd. represented by formula [wherein R1 and R2 are a halogen atom such as a chlorine atom, a bromine atom or the like and R of a group R-X-(R')n -Y- is an alkyl group such as a methyl group or the like or an alkenyl group such as a vinyl group or the like and R' thereof is an alkylene group such as a methylene group or the like or an oxyalkylene group such as an oxymethylene group or the like] is added to the thermal recording color forming layer. By this method, a thermal recording material excellent in light fastness is obtained. |
