PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical fuse in which simplification of assembling process is realized, and the number of components is reduced, and also to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: Both ends of a fuse element 14 are clipped and fixed by a first and a second cylindrical terminals 15, 16. That is to say, the fuse element 14 is inserted into the first and the second cylindrical terminals 15, 16 that penetrate and are fixed to both end side wall of a fuse cylinder H. The portions of the first and the second cylindrical terminals 15, 16 corresponding to the protruded portion from the lid 13 of the fuse element 14 are only plastic deformed in the direction that the inner side faces of the first and the second cylindrical terminals 15, 16 approach each other.
