PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact safe membrane switch structure which can detect steadily whatever hardness, shape and size such as a rigid plane, soft concavo-convex faces. SOLUTION: This is a contact safe membrane switch structure in which a plurality of conductive materials are printed in a line shape with line width 2-4 mm and line spacing 3-30 mm on a polyester film 12 of 100-350μm on a rigid substrate 2, and a lower line electrode 3 in which one line conductive material of line width 2-4 mm is printed so as to cross that line and an upper line electrode 6 similarly printed are arranged through an insulating spacer 7 of an insulation spacer spacing 5-40 mm so that the line may cross, and a sponge 8 having hardness 5-50 and restoration time 3 seconds or less is integrated on the detecting surface through an adhesive 9 coated with basis weight 200-500 g/m<SP>2</SP>.
