PURPOSE: To provide a galvanic anode for preventing the corrosion of a steel structure by allowing electric current for electrolytic protection to flow in the steel structure. CONSTITUTION: This galvanic anode is made of an Al alloy having a compsn. consisting of, by weight, 0.3-5.0% Zn, 0.01-0.05% In, 0.1-4.0% Mg, 0.1-0.4% Si, 0.005-0.5% Bi, 0.005-0.3% Be and the balance Al with inevitable impurities. The anode can be used over a wide range. |
