PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector for light or radiation and its detection system capable of precisely detecting incident light or radiation. SOLUTION: Since the flat-panel-type X-ray detector (FPD) 1 is provided with a wiring 23 for amplification factor alteration, it is possible to individually alter each amplification factor of a plurality of amplifiers 21. A control part 5 individually alters each amplification factor of the plurality of amplifiers. Each amplifier 21 amplifies electric charge information at an appropriate amplification factor even when electric charge information read from detection elements (d) is high and low among the amplifiers 21.
