摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic bearing system which can reduce power consumption and has excellent maintainability in a simple structure. SOLUTION: Radial magnetic bearings 11 are arranged on both sides of a rotor 5 in an axial direction, and have a magnet 14 at a stator side and a magnet 15 at a rotor side, which is a cylindrical permanent magnet magnetized in an axial direction. The magnet 14 at the stator side and magnet 15 at the rotor side are arranged in a concentric circle, and is biased in an axial direction. A thrust magnetic bearing 12 comprises a magnetic plate 17 at a rotor side, a permanent magnet 17 oppositely arranged on a ferromagnetic plate 16 at a stator side, and an electromagnet 18 capable of generating a magnetic field at a gap among the magnets. The ferromagnetic plate 16 and permanent magnet 17 are arranged on the thrust magnetic bearing 12 so that first urging force generated in the radial magnetic bearings 11 and a second urging force with a reversed direction of the first urging force. A zero-power control section 13 can control so that the rotor 5 is positioned at a balance position by means of the first urging force and second urging force and an electric current of the electromagnet 18 is converged to zero.
