PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw compressor capable of coping with variation of used air quantity while keeping energy saving effect and of expanding usage. SOLUTION: In a pressure sensor 9 detecting pressure in a delivery side of a compressor main body 2 and the screw compressor switching to full load operation or no load operation according to pressure in the delivery side detected by the pressure sensor 9, a control device 5 calculating used air quantity Qs from change rate of pressure in the delivery side detected by the pressure sensor 9, calculating secondary pressure lossΔP<SB>2</SB>in a delivery pipe system 4, in an embodiment, from an air tank 10 to a terminal part 4a, based on the calculated use air quantity Qs, calculating terminal pressure in the delivery pipe system 4, and switching and controlling full load operation or no load operation of the compressor main body 2 to keep the calculated terminal pressure in the delivery pipe system 4 in a predetermined range is provided.
