PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a percussive sound generated when a lid of a box-like body having a dial lock is opened and closed. SOLUTION: In the main body 3 incorporating the dial lock, a dial mechanism is structured so that the dial mechanism can push a hook 18 into a locking part 2 when the dial lock is unlocked. A locking pin 21 mounted on a front end of the hook 18 in a protruding manner is brought into contact with an inclined edge 27 formed at the front end of a lock cam 26. By the wedging action generated between them, the lock cam 26 is rotated anti-clockwise, and is then rotated clockwise so that the locking pin 21 may be held by the lock cam 26. By pushing and moving the hook 18 again leftwards, the wedging action is generated between the inclined body 31 and the locking pin 21, and the lock cam 26 is inclined in a direction of a thickness of the plate to release the locking pin 21.
