PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet head in which, when an ink is injected from a nozzle, the tip of ink liquid droplets cannot break easily, thereby providing good image reproducibility. SOLUTION: A flow path unit has a pressure chamber formed in the middle of an individual ink channel towards a nozzle from a common ink chamber. An actuator which applies pressure to the ink in the pressure chamber is provided, and two drops of ink liquid droplets (points 81 and 82) are usually injected from the nozzle by so-called pull ejection. The natural vibration period Ts in the integral vibration of the actuator and the pressure chamber and the natural vibration period Td of the ink in a descender towards the nozzle from the pressure chamber satisfy the relation: 0.36≤Ts/Td≤0.90 or 1.1≤Ts/Td≤1.7. Thus, it is prevented that the tip of the 1st drop of the original ink liquid droplet (point 82) breaks to form another ink liquid droplet (point 81a). COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
