The invention relates to a fuel feeder system of a diesel engine for motor vehicles, comprising means for direct injection linked to driving means, particularly to make a series of pilot injections before the main injection. The main characteristic of the feeder system according to the invention is that the said driving systems are adjusted so that the time separating two consecutive pilot injections is in the range of 20 µs and 400 µs, and that each pilot injection corresponds to a quantity of fuel between 0.5 mg et 1.2 mg.
