The system comprises a host computer system for an interactive internet website which can be visited by customers, and an interface associated with this host system for exchanging information between the host system and customer on the one hand and between the host system and a credit card payment system on the other hand. The interface device is connected to a power of attorney generator and an invoice generator so that the host system can use information sent by the customer to generate a power of attorney for making the purchase and send it on, register the authorized purchase and generate an invoice for the sale of the sold goods by the power of attorney issuer to the authorized party. Sales tax is deducted from the sales price. An independent claim is also included for a credit card suitable for use with this computer system.
