PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an escapement which receives an impact in a tangential direction. SOLUTION: The escapement includes a lever device 1. The lever device 1 includes a lever 3 for driving a roller 6, and a ring 7 for surrounding an escape wheel set 8. The ring 7 mounts pallet stones 9, 10, 11, 12 cooperating with teeth 13, 14, 15, 16 of the escape wheel set 8. Locking of the ring 7 and subsequent collision with the roller 6 are alternately repeated. The escape wheel set 8 includes a coaxially arranged first escape wheel 17 and second escape wheel 18. The teeth 13, 15, 16 of the first escape wheel 17 cooperate with the pallet stones 9, 11, 12 of the ring 7.
