PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that, in a mower having a shape for lowering the height of an implement by bringing the radius of rotation of traveling wheels to be small, the wheel shaft units of the wheels are constituted to be in a low level, therefore the shaft units easily contact to lawn grass and the lawn grass is easily wound to the shaft units, thus travelling is not smoothly performed. SOLUTION: The travelling device of a mower is constituted by bringing front ends of a lateral pair of front wheels 1 to incline by directing the same inward in the proceeding direction and installing wheel shafts 2 bearing the front wheels 1 within a lateral width range B of the front wheel and in the back side of the same. The lateral pair of the front wheels 1 rotatively travel in the inclined state with the front side to direct inward to the proceeding direction, therefore reaping operation is carried out by proceeding so that the front wheels 1 push and separate the lawn grass in a non-mowed ground side. Therefore, though the front wheels 1 rotate around the wheel shafts 2, the lawn grass pushed in front of the front wheels do not contact to or are not wound by the wheel shaft units 2, as each of the wheel shafts 2 is installed within the lateral direction width B of the front wheel and locating in the back side.
