A cutting insert assembly is provided to lengthen service life and process workpiece precisely by mounting a cutting insert on a tool holder through powerful clamping and maintaining stable contact. A cutting insert assembly comprises: a cutting insert(10) having an inserting hole(11) in the central part; a clamp(20) in which an insertion protrusion(23) inserted in the inserting hole is protruded in one side and in which a fitting projection(25) protruded to the cutting insert is formed in the other side and having a bore(21) which a mounting screw(40) passes through; a pocket unit(32) mounted with the cutting insert; a spring mounting groove mounting a spring elastically supporting the clamp; and a tool holder(30) having a fitting groove(33) in which the fitting projection of the clamp is inserted.
