The electric drive device comprises: an electric motor (106); an electrical supply device (104) for powering the phases of the stator (108), intended, in each phase and during each revolution of the rotor (114), to successively apply to the relevant phase a predetermined number of commands per revolution of the rotor (114) which are intended to respectively cause the appearance of successive pulses of phase current (i1, i2, i3), each command belonging to a set of default commands causing respectively the appearance of default pulses of different shapes, one of the default commands, termed the maximal, causing the appearance of a default pulse, termed the maximal pulse, exhibiting a maximal angular duration. The electrical power supply device (104) is furthermore intended, for a command: -to adjust an adjustable characteristic of the command so as to obtain an optimized command causing the appearance of an optimized pulse exhibiting an angular duration greater than the maximal angular duration; -to verify that it is possible to make several optimized pulses follow one another without them overlapping. |
